Latest LLMs like Fable5 and Opus5 apparently go into a frenzy during their thinking process.
This is remarkably similar to the "madness-style" thinking prompts I used to experiment with.

This is a prompt that (I feel) improves performance by forcing gemini1206 (was it the EXP version of gemini 2.5 pro?) to think deeply while acting as if it's losing its mind. It felt capable of deep reasoning on par with ChatGPT o1 pro, which was the highest performing model at the time.
I also go crazy when writing papers, so I feel like this LLM behavior is actually quite intuitive.
There's something kind of cute about an LLM that goes completely off the rails, only to deliver its answer with a straight face.
